May 4, 2008 - The NewHouse AAF team placed 2nd at the District Two regional competition in the AAF AIM National Student Advertising Competition in New York City.
Faculty advisor, Ed Russell commented that "for the past 5 years, I tell you this was the stiffest competition we have ever seen. The NewHouse presentation team; seniors Sarah Leahy, Brandon Pugach and Alfiya Mukhutdinova along with juniors Maria Sinopoli and Paul Savaiano did a spectacular job representing us all. They were called out for having the strongest “big brand idea” of any group with the AIM Lounge (you really can’t ask for much more than that!). Their presentation was flawless and I say without reservation that our AAF team gets better and better every year."
