A Message From the President
That "back to school" feeling is in the air !
The State Fair is over, school buses are back on the road (perhaps making your commute a bit longer?), and you may buy school, er, office supplies you don't really need. Although I'm not starting school this fall, I've got that same excited feeling about kicking off another great Syracuse Ad Club year!
But I'm getting ahead of myself: Before I talk about all that's to come
this year, I want to thank everyone for making the recent annual
CADDY's golf tournament a success. If I could, I'd personally thank each and every board member, Ad Club member, and all the guests for coming out and participating! As for upcoming events, get your calendar out; there's a lot going on! What I'm most excited about (aside from the Sep.18th Fall TV Preview and tonight's Member Mixer at Meghan McMurphy's) is all the educational events we've got lined up.
This year, the Syracuse Ad Club is participating in the Newhouse Advertising Speaker Series. It's FREE to attend these lectures and
discussions that feature some of the greatest ad people in the world.
And yes, I mean the world. For example, the CEO of international agency Saatchi and Saatchi will be speaking October 16th. Read More … Contact: Sean Johnston Email: sjohnston@lamar.com
